Swim through meowcrobes of the same color. When the ring around your bubble runs out, 3 or more pop. Long chains score far more: points grow with the square of the length.

Hold your phone at a comfortable angle. That angle becomes "level". Tip the top away to swim up, toward you to swim down. Turn the phone left or right, like a door, to steer.
Turn on Orientation Lock in Control Center first, so the screen doesn't flip mid-tilt. Tap the little compass in the corner to re-level. Shake hard to go feral.
Swim through meowcrobes of the same color. When the ring around your bubble runs out, 3 or more pop. Long chains score far more: points grow with the square of the length.
A pop spreads into every touching meowcrobe of that color, and keeps spreading. Aim chains at big same-color clumps.
Pops leave sparkles and kills drop kibble. Swim through them and your bubble slurps them up and grows: A Fine Boi, He Chomnk, A Heckin' Chonker, Hefty Chonk, Megachonker, Oh Lawd He Comin. Every size puts more critters on the menu. Edible ones glow green and run; swim into them to gulp them for double points. A hit shrinks a big bubble one size instead of popping it. Bosses and tardigrades pop you at any size.
Chain two specials together for crossfire and mega blasts.
Colonies hang off a crowned Queen. Pops that touch her crack her crown. Cut a chunk loose and it spirals down the drain for drop bonus. Shoot a loose meowcrobe into a colony and it sticks; three of a color is a Bank Shot.
Shoot everything, or grow big enough to eat it. Scutigera split into two when shot in the body; aim for the head. Anglerfish lure kittens. Phages turn meowcrobes into grey zombies that spread; shoot the zombies. Tardigrades cannot die, except to Feral.
Swim into a kitten to rescue it: 1,000 points, then 2,000, up to 5,000. Up to four ride along in orbit and fire with you. Lose a life and they scatter.
Fill the Bloom meter and the drain in the middle opens. Dive in for a Cat Crush finale and a bonus for how chonky you are, then sink to the next depth, from the Sunlight Zone down to the Challenger Deep at 10,935 m. Each depth starts you small again. Bump a critter into the open drain to flush it for triple points.
Fill the Feral meter, then shake your phone, double-tap the right side, two-finger tap, or tap the meter. For six seconds you are a giant invincible hairball. Zoomies is a dash with a moment of invincibility: tap in one-thumb mode, double-tap the left side in two-thumb mode. You have nine lives.
